Thank you, for your interest in Wenches and Warriors Guild. Founded in 1999, by Angel Jones (A.K.A. Mistress Mary). Wenches and Warriors is a reenactment group, portraying English lower class of the fifteen and sixteen hundreds. The guild offers entertainment and education of a time long ago! When swords won battles and wenches hearts with poetry. Songs, games, stories and interaction with other guilds is just some of the many things Wenches and Warriors do as a group, all up and down the coast of California. Guild members range in all ages child to adult with all walks of life. Some members are professional actors/actresses, others with no acting education at all. Wenches and Warriors prides it's self in being a diverse group. Wenches and Warriors are contracted to several Renaissance Fairs a year. Along with 3 Weekend Workshops a year, Parades, Single Day events, other Educational Classes, and some Business/Corporate Parties. All three Workshop Weekends are mandatory, but always worth it! What are Multi Guild Workshop Weekends?

The purpose of Wenches and Warriors Multi Guild Workshop Weekends is to educate all, meet new people and to work with other Guilds! We're looking to expand relationships and coordinate guilds skits for up coming fairs! It's been a long time hope for many, to some how bring the guilds together outside of fair!

Wenches and Warriors started the first Multi Guild Workshop Weekend last August 2006! What a success! We started the weekend with everyone dressing up for the County Fair Parade here in Ventura and Won 3rd place out of 120 floats!! Along with a Toga party for that evenings entertainment. What Fun! We were able to successfully bring together 4 Renaissance Re-Enactment guilds, for a 2-day event outside of Faire! With great workshops both days and about 80 guild members attending the weekend, it did just we thought it would do! Ojai Pirate Fair was even better! With new relationships established and new gigs worked on/planned for, Faire was great! We learned so much from the first experience and we've had so many more requests for  workshops!  That we've made plans for 3 more Multi Guild Workshop Weekends this 2007!

 Remember you must already be a part of a Re-enactment guild of the 1500/1600's to take part in the Multi Guild Workshop Weekend! Workshop Weekends are for all ages and have a family fun atmosphere! We hope to see everyone back who took part in the 2006 Multi Guild Workshop Weekend and to see many more new guild faces!!
